Our dear friend, Gene Strassler has been admitted to UNC hospitals. Many of you have inquired about his seat being empty at the auctions. Gene is getting on in years and having trouble functioning on his own. He may be destined to assisted living depending on the doctor’s orders.
He could use a friend or two right now, as he has no family. He is in room 3234 in the main hospital at UNC. If you find yourself in that direction, pop your head in and say hello. He really misses the social life of the auctions.
